Set edit-link-type in web-client-config

Hello together,i changed the edit-link-type in web-client-config.xml from http to webdav or cifs, but nothing happens. I can't see any new url, when i click the docs in alfresco. I still have links like http://alfrescoserver:8080/alfresco/….What happend, when i change the edit-link-type?Thanks for h

It is only affecting the edit document link right from the file. What version are you using, former have had issues with it.

I've 3.0.0 Stable (Built 1526) running.

Now i tried 3.2 with vti and i can see the edit-online-button in the webclient. But in 3.0 i can't see the edit-online-button for office docs. Is there any solution to fix this?

There were versions (2.9b at least) in which the appropriate code was absent from Alfresco, only the configuration was ready then.
But according to http://forums.alfresco.com/en/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=16615&p=63298 3stable was one of the versions, that it worked with. Since 3.2 brings a lot of fixes to important areas, it may be worth thinking about an upgrade, if that is feasible.
