Hi,

You should use Web scripts and expose them through a Liferay portlet. The code of the Web script should do everything you need to do as far as interacting with the Alfresco repository goes. Your options are to use Alfresco's out-of-the-box portlets that expose some of their Web scripts (e.g. MySpaces, MyTasks, etc.) or use Rivet Logic's AWPr.

There are of course other options where you can create your own portlet using any framework you prefer and use one of the available remote interfaces into Alfresco to execute Alfresco services APIs. Liferay's wiki has a page that explains your options. Here's the URL:

http://www.liferay.com/web/guest/community/wiki/-/wiki/Main/Alfresco+integration

Hope this helps,

–Alaaeldin
