Adding same category to multiple content at one go

We needed an alfresco expert's advice: We want to apply same category to multiple content at the same time. We have gone through the ebooks by Munwar Sharif and Developer's guide by Jeff Potts. There seems no mention of it.We know how to add a category to 1 content, but when we are moving say number

You may use Rule Wizard to create a Rule when the contents is placed in the particular Space.

Rule Condition: Selecte the appropriate conditions. e..g 'All Items'
Action: Link Item to Category and choose the appropriate category.
