Thanks for your answer but that doesn't help.
I know how to uncheck the uniherited permissions. The problem is that I have to do that for every single new folder that is generated when a user installs IMAP in his mail client the first time.
The folders are created automatically by Alfresco and by default they inherit the parent space permissions. Where in the configuration files of Alfresco can I configure that "Inherit Parent Space Permissions" is unchecked (by default) for the new auto created IMAP folders?

any ideas?

Are you using 3.4? I think I fixed this some time ago.

I use Alfresco Community - v3.3.0 (2765)
Can I upgrade to 3.4 or do I need to uninstall 3.3 and install the new version?
