Looks like a username encoding issue. I think I remember seeing a JIRA relating to the issue, but can't immediately find it right now.

My users are now reporting this issue as well. I see here http://forums.alfresco.com/en/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=15921
that other people posted about this a while ago but there was never a resolution posted. Could someone take a look at this? I searched JIRA but didn't find anything that related.

I'm able to reproduce this by doing the following:
1) Open IE
2) Sign in to Share
3) Leave session alone for two hours
4) Click on "my dashboard" or anything else that would check your sign-in state. You will be sent back to the sign in page.
5) Sign in, your custom dashboard is reset to the default.

In the tomcat log you see:

This is with an hourly LDAP sync for details but passthru authentication. Alfresco is SSO but Share is not.

Can anyone else confirm this before I submit a ticket?

Please submit a ticket anyway (this should always be done for reproducible issues). I wonder if the recent LDAP import fixes on HEAD will also solve this issue?

I can set up a test server, but I don't have the setup to build from HEAD. FYI, this server was installed fresh with 3.2, not upgraded.

I switched to a daily LDAP sync and restarted to see if it helps, performed the same test - waiting an hour and 15 minutes without crossing the ldap sync time, and the issue still occurred, so it doesn't look like it is directly related to the LDAP sync.

I have rebuilt Alfresco from HEAD today and I am still seeing this error.

This is fixed on HEAD since approx August 20th. So the Community 3.2r release has the fix.

I'm resuming this post because I'm experiencing the same issue with Alfresco 3.0 Stable.
Does anybody know what is the exact code for fixing this?
I am not currently planning to pass to Alfresco 3.3…
