    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Sorry for the post.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; There's no need to encode the authorization in the URL, but rather specify this in the RSS feed reader.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;It occurred to me that subscribing to the feed as requiring Authorization from my RSS feed reader code was the way to go about this.&amp;nbsp; In&amp;nbsp; my case I'm using ROME, which allows for specifying an HttpURLConnection that has the proper Authorization encoding parameter.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Carlos S.
