Hi all,

I have successfully configured Alfresco to identify through Kerberos against Active Directory thanks to Alfresco's WIKI.

I now have a kerberos1 subsystem with all properties set, including property kerberos.authentication.defaultAdministratorUserNames which allows me to set up the users I want to grant administrator rights with.

Each and every post I've seen on this forum told to configure things like this :

kerberos.authentication.defaultAdministratorUserNames=obiwankenobi,lukeskywalker‍

In my case, this doesn't seem to work. I can log in without any problem on both IE and FFX, but those users don't have admin rights. I've tested configurations with either realm\username or solo username in both mono-user and comma-separated-multiple-users, none worked :cry:

Does anybody have any idea how to deal with this issue ?

Regards,

Patrick.

I am also trying to achieve the same with Alfresco 3.4a Community edition, but
pretty much stuck with the AD configuration itself… http://forums.alfresco.com/en/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=28772#p101603
not sure whether you can throw any pointers along that way….
