Web Studio on Windows XP

I am evaluating Alfresco on Windows XP.Have successfully installed and share and Alfresco application seems to be working ok.When I start Studio and begin to create a website the application hangs and I can't proceed.I am not a techie but I have found numerous posts with the same problem. Any help

The application hangs on the /studio/page screen with the "user sandbox" graphic at the bottom left.

The tomcat screen indicates the time and then
INFO [web.site.frameworkhelper] Invalidated Object Cache

I don't understand. I am evaluating the Professional Edition. I should be able to run all the components without a problem. If I have a problem, I should at the very least expect to find and answer or have my question answered in the forum.

I has configure tomcat to start on default port (8080) and problem is solved.
