      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Yes of course you can use WCM across Operating Systems.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I don't know what is going on with the installers.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; The standalone deployment receiver can be installed from the zip file.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; If you can get an alfresco.war file then you install that onto an instance of Tomcat.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Thanks for the reply, I ended up zipping the installed deployment receiver files on Linux and extracted them on Solaris and all is working fine!&amp;nbsp; &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":slightly_smiling_face:"&gt;🙂&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
