How do I delete tags?

Ive added a bunch of test tags which id now like to remove from the system…how exactly do I do that

One by one Log into Alfresco Explorer and edit the categories in the admin menu, linked in the top leftmost icon

Thanks for responding, I for the life of me cannot find where you mean

1) http://site:8080/alfresco, log in as administrator
2) Click the down arrow to change navigator to categories?

I cant seem to find my tags in there anywhere…I do see the categories, but internally we've decided on a tag-only system to manage our content.

Was that the area you were talking about?
