What version of Alfresco did you try ?
My guess would be to wait until XForms are appended into workflow management in Alfresco DM

I am using v3.2. I was just reading the wiki entry for the Forms capability which I believe is only available in Share currently. http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Forms I assume that is what you referred to as XForms. Yes, I can see how this would be a possible solution, especially since it mentions being able to validate data entry using javascript and more control of the UI.

When are Forms expected in DM and workflow, any idea?

At the DC meetup, a v3.3 enhancement was mentioned - Surf code generation, is that related?

What is the difference between Surf and Forms?
