We've got an ADAM directory setup and can authenticate users successfully against our Alfresco 3.2 Community edition (build 2039). We'd like to set everything up so that users enter their full "internet" email address when they login to Alfresco Explorer or Share. Right now users have to enter their full name that is in the CN, but we have a "mail" attribute that contains the users email address in the ldap. Is there some way to configure the Alfresco ldap authentication system to use this "mail" attribute when authenticating users? In the documentation (http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Alfresco_Authentication_Subsystems#Configuration_2) it only talks about how to use the DN or UPN (MS specific) for the username format. Neither of these locations in our ldap contain the email address.

Thanks,
-Tim Wood
