    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;When you view the file in CIFS, your native desktop software is reading the metadata and displaying it directly from the file. When you view the file in Alfresco, it's showing the metadata associated with the content depending on the type and model applied.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;In 3.4 we've introduced EXIF metadata extractors thanks to the Apache Tika libraries.       <description>I am new to alfresco and trying to figure out the metadata stuff. I uploaded a jpg file with the following metadata fields: Title, subject, rating, tags and comments. Does this info stay with the file when I import it into alfresco? I don't think it does, because when I am in the alfresco web interf</description>

Do you know if you can put the metadata info in the regular search box or does it actually have to go in the appropriate search box by doing an advanced search (ex. Title = xxxx).
