How do i configure Alfresco to connect with Mysql located on another server?

Edit the alfresco-global.properties file and change db.host parameter.

I don´t find this file, but i edit the custom-repository.properties.

The Alfresco APP don´t start if i set the db.url to remote mysql server.

Exists another files where i can modify any setting about the db connections?

Make sure you've either copied the existing database across completely, or clear out alf_data to start from scratch.

As always, it's difficult to help if you don't post the alfresco.log file containing the error.
