    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Thought about something to test: use the localized IE browser, and got the right translation.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Apparently 3.4.a detects the locale in a different way that 3.3g and older.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Does anyone know a way to "force" Share to use a certain language pack, or give the user the option?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <title>Language pack not working in 3.4.a?</title>

      <description>Installed 3.4.a for testing purposes. First thing I noticed was that the language pack isn't working at all. While it works OK in 3.3g, I can't see anything translated in 3.4.aI put the complete folder structure (starting with "messages/" and "site-webscripts/") with all the .properties in "tomcat/s</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hi ebogaard,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I've managed to get languages working on Alfresco 3.4.a by placing the content of the language in &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;PRE class="language-none line-numbers"&gt;&lt;CODE&gt;&amp;lt;alfresco-root&amp;gt;/tomcat/webapps/alfresco/WEB-INF/classes/alfresco/messages&lt;SPAN class="line-numbers-rows"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;‍&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/CODE&gt;&lt;/PRE&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; and then edit the language section in the file &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;PRE class="language-none line-numbers"&gt;&lt;CODE&gt;&amp;lt;alfresco-root&amp;gt;/tomcat/webapps/alfresco/WEB-INF/classes/alfresco/web-client-config.xml&lt;SPAN class="line-numbers-rows"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;‍&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/CODE&gt;&lt;/PRE&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; in order to choose - in the login page, what language i'll use in Alfresco.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hope that helps. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Regards,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;aascensao&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

(It's for ru_RU).&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Note that there options force selected language for ALL(!) your users.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I think is better to change preferred language in your browser settings. - in this case user can control language of his own user interface.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
