Have a look through the online help - it's accessible by clicking the question mark icon at the top of the screen, near the right hand side. Look for the section called "Using Web Content Management (WCM)".

Hi all,

I am a newbie to alfresco as well as for development.I have just checked out alfresco from svn repository . I have run the build.xml. The message appears i.e. build successful.

Though the war file of that application doesn't run in apache Tomcat . And there are many errors for some projects which are not removed though the build is successful.

You are going to need to post more details to get any sensible answers.

If you have just built alfresco and slapped it on an AS then the next steps would be to configure it and create the database. Follow the instructions on setting up a development environment on the wiki.

I want to know where the information about preview is stored in data base.
Actually i want to customize the preview generation.
But i am not getting how preview of document is stored, and how it is fetched.

Please guide
