    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;If you've previously started Alfresco it will have populated the alf_data directory with some default content.&amp;nbsp; If you then subsequently move the alf_data directory to another location, you must either:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;OL style="list-style-type:decimal;"&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Copy over the contents of the old alf_data directory to the new alf_data directory.&lt;/LI&gt;OR&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Wipe the alfresco database.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The database and alf_data directory are two sides of a coin, so changing one without the other (in any way) will be detected by Alfresco as a fatal error (the persisted repository is not valid).&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Cheers,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Peter&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
