Hi,

I work for a company who makes scanning solutions. While we don't have an Alfresco supported solution, we have a way to map data from fields into xml files. that plus a quick script to zip up the files allows us to use Alfresco's import format get information into the system.

We're primarily MFP-based, but we support scanners via TWAIN as well. We have native OCR, but no native ICR. ICR is available with an add-on product, but depending upon your actual process, it's usually pretty unreliable anyway.

just looking for an application that in one window can show on the left side the scanned document and on the right side the metadata that can entered by the user.

In this way we can use every scanning application and export the documents to a folder.
