I have access to the web client. I dont have access to config files. Is there a generic ftp configuration I can use with my username and password to access the shared space? The problem is that I do not want to have to download all the files one by one by clicking download through web client.Thank you

Yes, unless someone has disabled it, you can FTP to the alfresco server using your user name and password.

You could also use WebDAV or CIFS to interact with Alfresco using your Operating System's standard interface.

It's the same host name as the one you are pointing your browser at. The port number is the default FTP port so you don't have to specify one.
