How to configure a newly created page

Hi,I had created a new index page in Surf environment. Instead of getting the index page which i had created.I'm getting the other page with the message as:This is an unconfigured page.Home(index)Please check the page configuration. Any help would be much appreciated.. Thanks in Advance.RegardsSrava
