topic Iframes in dashlets: in Alfresco Archive

Hi,
In my effort to create and inline document viewer+editor, I am asked to get the MS Word itself as the editor. I am planning to include this editor within a dashlet.
I tried to open the word documents in the dashlet through an iframe as well as frame, but the MS word toolbars and its icons are not displaying. So we cannot edit the documents through mouse controls.

1. Is there any way to bring the tool bars also to the iframe?
2. If this concept is not possible through iframes, is there any other way to accomplish it?
3. Will I get any support from the FTL to include this toolbar in iframes?

Please advise.

Thanks,
Sherry.

Will I get any support from the FTL to include this toolbar in iframes?
This isn't an Alfresco issue, it's to do with how you're embedding MS Word. I'd advise experimenting first with a very simple static HTML page containing an iframe and have a look around Microsoft's MSDN site for pointers on how to embed Word.

Thanks,
Mike
