      <description>Hi,When files are transfer to Alfresco via FTP, the "Title" and "Description" properties seem not set and become missing, when template are apply with "child.properties.description", it generate errors.Is there a way to set the "Title" and "Description" properties to empty instead of just missing.</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hello,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The automatic extraction of the documents title and description is performed through the web client interface.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;But, there is a way to perform the same extraction using CIFS, FTP and WebDAV.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;What you have to do is add a content rule to the folder that you are importing to, using the action 'Extract common metadata fields from content'.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hope this helps,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Steve&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
