i m new to alfresco, i m trying to send invitation to serveral people, but while performing this thing, me got error, sending failed.can any body tell me how this problem would be solved

Hi Chetna,
For sending the email to other people first you have to configure some smtp server with alfresco after that you will be able to invite others.go to the alfresco global.properties and change its configuration according to your requirement.

hey, thanks but i done with changes in alfresco-global-porpetties.

mail.host=smtp.hostname
mail.port=25
mail.protocol=smtp
mail.username=abc(valid username)
mail.password=xyz(valid password)
mail.encoding=UTF-8
mail.from.default=abc(vaild email id)
mail.smtp.auth=true

but still me getting error "0 invite sent out, 1 failure".

plzzz help me, may b there is another way by which i cn slove this problem.

it will be better if u will post the log files and the other changes u have made to configure the server.i am looking into the matter.
