Is this the same case for subscription?&lt;/BLOCKQUOTE&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;When you install a trial version of Enterprise, it starts a 30 day countdown by default until &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;A href="http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Installing_a_new_license" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"&gt;you apply a full license&lt;/A&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;.&amp;nbsp; A proper license is provided as part of a subscription and remains in force even after your subscription expires.&amp;nbsp; If no new license is ever applied, that's when the repository will revert to a read-only mode (i.e. after the 30 day trial period expires).&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;it's true there is a major problem with the subscription or pricing model&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;You could imagine taking a one-year contract every two,three ( or even more ) years.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;In the period that you are coverred by a contract you can upgrade and you're not spending every year a fortune &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The Enterprise version would continue to work with your license file as long you don't upgrade&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;As per information that i got from alfresco staff (date december 2014) If we dont continue the Alfresco EE subscription, then we could only have read only mode Alfresco, we can NOT write/upload document into Alfresco.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;hope this helps for other person that looking for information about Alfresco EE license.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
