I just finished installing the record management module and had a couple of questions/suggestions.1. Would it be possible to edit the metadata when you click on the record? ( The view im referring to brings up the preview of the document and static metadata) It's sometimes easier to edit the metad

1. I think this would be a nice feature to have but it won't come from clicking on a record, as the interface needs to be targetted at the most frequent use case which is record viewing. It would be good however to show a preview during edit.

2. Our goal is to improve Share through this and further releases to provide all the necessary functionality and eventually to make Share a richer and easier interface than Explorer. So Explorer is not going to be supporting any RM functionality, indeed Explorer is not a DoD certified interface. I agree however with the way that metadata might be entered, hence we made the process for creating records a three step process; file, complete, declare. This will allow for a record to be put into a workflow and have the metadata "completed" by a number of different people before it is finally declared. The only missing piece is the workflow access through Share - we are working on this.
