I have fixed this issue by adding this new user ID in Home Space which should be a mandatory field. I suggest that Alfresco add this field as mandatory field, otherwise, the error can happen.

I have the same problem, but when i write in 'Home Space' it doesnt work. actually, it worked for some users ( in some cases i tried more than on time using the same name ) and doesnt work for others.

the following message appears:

A system error happened during the operation: 08160204 Found 1 integrity violations: Invalid property value: Node: workspace://SpacesStore/dafcfa61-e000-4e1a-a7be-d305aded0a6e Type: {http://www.alfresco.org/model/content/1.0}folder Property: {http://www.alfresco.org/model/content/1.0}name Constraint: 08160203 Value 'antoniocanhota ' is not valid as a file name. hi
while creating a new user from admin console go to the create user and enter the required informations.
when u will enter the user properties then in the place of home space location click on the user Homes which is in a dotted box then different home space location arises .then click on the home space location and add it by clicking the green add sign.after that you will be able to create the user.
