    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hello,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I’have see that Alfresco store the files on file system.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;But my file are very confidential and I have to protect them on the server.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;After reading on web and forum, I fink that the best way to protect my documents is to encrypt my file system with a tool like EnCFS. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;But this type of tool use certificate and I would like to know if it’s possible to use certificate with Alfresco ?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Is it a good way to protect my data ?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Thanks.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I’am using Alfresco 3.1 on OpenSuse (Linux)&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Yes you could try EncFS or you could just restrict access to the files to the account that alfresco runs as. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Whether to use encryption or not depends on whether you have your root level accounts secured.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; And if you don't have root level access tied down then I'm afraid you are fighting a loosing battle.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
