Hi all, There are 4 posts i found on this forum about 'Quota on spaces' but no answer.I read that u can probably put a limit on a space, however nobody knows how.I read that this feature was expected in v 3.3 enterprise. I downloaded v 3.3 E and installed it locally, but i guess that it was not imp

1. Add a custom aspect to a space to hold the max quota value and current usage value.
2. Add custom behaviour to workout the current size of folder contents (asynchronously) when content is created.
3. Check content size against max quota value on content creation (synchronously) and throw error if quota is exceeded.

Did you get as far to implementing the quota on spaces and testing it?

After searching i found links on adding a custom aspect to a space.

Hi Reena,

No, we've not had to implement this. But this is how we'd go about it.

If you plan on releasing the finished functionality as open source happy to assist. If it's for a closed source solution, DM me and we'll offer a consulting.
