another question:
wath is the differnce between the above release (e dev with version.build=1606) and the lab3-stable that has a version build of 1526 ?

is e dev more stable or less? by name i think more stable the lab3-stable but from build number i think it's the opposite.

thanks.

The version you have is some intermediate nightly build.

If you have CIFS issues You would probably do better to either go forward to the latest build or back to 3 Stable. The CIFS configuration has had a major overhaul in 3.2 so may be what you need.

In the mad and inconsistent world of Alfresco Labs.
labs 3 stable was at some time going to be "labs 3d".
So your 3e-dev release is after 3d and before 3e.
Thankfully Alfresco Labs is no more.

The build numbers increment over time so you have always been able to tell a later version by the build number.
e.g. version.build=1606 is after 1526

Now back to your questions.
yes there were some fixes to WCM forms that missed 3D so you would have taken a nightly build shortly after 3 stable,

If you want the wcm forms stuff with CIFS then go to the latest nightly build which has a couple of CIFS fixes you want to use.
