      <title>CIFS to existing Netowrk drive ?</title>

      <description>I have one existing network drive with some documents.Will it be possible to map the existing network drive with alfresco repository ?Using CIFS we can mount a new network drive.But my requirement is we need to map the existing map drive ?Is this possible with Alfresco ?</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;In a nutshell, yes.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;In practice this will probably require disconnecting the existing network drive then reconnecting it to Alfresco on each desktop PC.&amp;nbsp; There are ways to transparently swap a network drive for Alfresco but they're more involved and the timing of some of the steps can be difficult, depending on the size of your installalation.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Cheers,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Peter&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
