Add new mimetype

I'm having dificulty creating a new mimetype. I don't see any errors in my log file, so I assume the extensions I have created are loading correctly. I've included all necessary files for reference. When I add content the file type is not listed in the drop down list. mimetype-map-extension-conte

Fixed. The mimetype file was named wrong. Correct name must match the static file which is content-services-context.xml.

Hi rtoepfer1,

I was wondering if you could assist me in adding a Mime Type, I have tried following the instructions on the wiki page with no success http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Adding_a_Mime_Type.

Could you please outline which files (& location in alfresco) you changed so I can try the same on my alfresco setup.
Did you modify content-services-context.xml or create a new file as this is not mentioned in the wiki page?
