I need to know if is possible create link to content in Alfresco Share, as we do in Alfresco Repository.

there might be situations where i need to have the same file in two spaces. How I do this using alfresco share without copy document?

There's no UI for this yet, but Share will resolve links if you create them using the Explorer client or via your own scripts.

Thank you for your explanation.

I tried to create links in alfresco explorer but I found a problem.
I created a link to a space, and when I try to access the link using the alfresco share does not work. the error is "path not found"

any idea what is the problem?

I can only say it was installed this project http://forge.alfresco.com/projects/linkitemtospace/ available in Alfresco Forge.

Mike, you told that Alfresco Share will resolve links if i create them using the Explorer client or via own script, even if the space from which I create link is outside the space “Sites”?

I ask this because if I create a link to a space outside of “Sites”, using Alfresco share the link does not work.

That was the more concrete example I was after. No, Site Document Libraries do not support links outside of the Site itself. The Repository browser does.

Hi,

Can someone please provide me the complete details(where to make changes along with the code) on how to add a hyperlink to a document in alfresco share?
Scenario is , i have created a workflow against a document and now i want to get a hyperlink placed somewhere in the workflow to the document, so that the document opens in a new window.
I am almost banging my head against the wall, to get a solution to this!!
I need this help asap, if possible.
