    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;AFS and Alfresco are not similar products.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; One is a highly distributed file system the other is a content management system. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;So for example AFS will not do content transformation and Alfresco will not do management of disconnected assets.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;However both systems will manage your files, with access control etc so at that some level they will be similar.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
