I'd like to add couple of properties to a content type which need to be linked to the record names from other spaces.Let's say I'd like to add a Vendor property to a content type Purchase order. This property has to dynamically lookup through the space Vendors (dropdown list), where directory of all

I saw a method while reading blogs about Alfresco. The author created a custom Constraint type that, when given a space identifier, would constrain the values of a field to only the names of spaces inside the given space. It is a very neat solution, although I got lost in his discussion of the implementation.

I will try to search for it some more. . . Stay tuned.
