Just upload files of the various types.

I don't get what you mean - if I choose a custom type (which is what I want), I enter the "Create Content Wizard" which has three steps:
1. Details
2. Enter Content
3. Summary

None of these steps lets me arbitrarily upload files.. So, how do I make this work with custom types?

Oh, I get it (almost). Instead of going via the "Create Content Wizard", I use the "Add Content Wizard", whereby I upload anything and still get to select a content type, including my custom types..

OK - so how do I restrict file types for a given custom type? I.e. I create an "article" type and only want jpg/gif/png etc for that type?
