Hi, I´m using alfresco in a small deparment with AD passthru and it works perfectly, now I need to use it in the whole company. I need to import groups and users from my AD or sync it with the root of the AD, I´ve tried it but the only thing I get is sync the users and groups of only one OU.Is possi

I think i had a similar problem, i dont think its possible to get the users or groups from the root of an AD. I was only able to get all users and groups of the AD if they were inside an OU. If they were on the root of the AD, i couldnt get Alfresco to import them.

You probably need to specify CN instead of OU in your ldap-ad config file. Think I remember someone doing it… Alternatively, you could just setup a ldap-ad connector for each folder (copy the folder ldap-ad to ldap-ad2, ldap-ad3)
the authentication chain would look like :

authentication.chain=ldap-ad1:ldap-ad,ldap-ad2:ldap-ad2,ldap-ad3:ldap-ad3‍

Structure : Name_of_connector:Name_of_folder
