Sounds like my problem too.

Is there a bunch of errors in your tomcat interactive console, but not in your alfresco.log file?

Yes, it is similar. I do not see anything in the log. I was able to step through the Getting Started with WCM tutorial, successfully. Did you step through that?

Hi @all … I got the same problem. I installed Alfresco Community 3.2 andf want to try out the green energy tutorial. But after the sign up in studio I can´t select a sample. Or better, I can´t see the samples…

Need I to download the samples?

I'm having excatly the same problem. After logging into Alfresco Studio and attempting to create a new site the "based on the following" drop down box does not populate. I cannot select any of the templates.

I got the solution

You need to give Java access to the internet. It seems, that alfresco dowload the templates from the server alfresco.com/….

or/and allow your proxy access to the alfresco.com server (don't remember wich port though )

I can access the URL's via the web browser I am loading Studio with.

How do you configure Studio to use the proxy?

I was wondering if anyone found the solution to this thread. I am new to Alfresco and am trying to use the Web studio Green
sample project but have not been able to do so.

Even the same troubles with Web Studio and Proxy, just no solution?

It's a little difficult sometimes because people create lots of posts about the same issue but are just worded slightly differently. The above post has some good info to try and some engineers are trying to help.
