Is there any estimate on the release date for Activiti 6? Should new projects starting now use Activiti 5 or 6? Thanks

Same question here. Is there a way to track progress on beta tests, bug fixes and preparations for production release? It'll be soon 1 year since Paris conference

All unit tests run green on all supported database.
The engine is as stable as v5 (and if you ask me, stabler)

Sure. But we've kept supporting/maintaining/enriching v5 at the same time. We could have not done that and it would have been ready, but we didn't want to have a full stop for the project.

We're currently 'finishing up'. We're rewriting a big part of the job executor which we want to get into the v6 for the first release, which should improve performance. There are a few performance fixes going in too. It's done when it's done, but it shouldn't take us much more months.
