data list assign not working as expected [Solved]

in the data list I would expect that when you assign an item in the Task list advanced todo that it would show up in there My tasks - but it does not. is this working as intended ?

The datalist isn't connected to Alfresco workflow, it's just an example of a field where you can choose a person instead of say, a date or a file, etc.

Yes, you could create a rule (script-based) that extracted the field and started a new workflow with that user as the assignee.

Hi Mike!

We have just installed v3.3g, we are very interested on the same issue: we would like that tasks (and other items) assigned to a person would link with that person's "My tasks".

Are you aware if someone has already done that script? Is is available somewhere? We are doing a demo for a complete company implementation and I think this is essential for them to decide to go for it.
