When I tried assign a task , it throws error in workflow.I tried to add assignee name in two ways:# Hard-code the assignee email ID# Add a people picker When I hard coded assignee email into workflow, the error displayed as:User task has assignment with unknown assignee sample_user@ example.com

Hi Swathi,

Give the below one a try and see if it works for you.

I hope you are using Activiti Enterprise. If so, you can click on the user task and in the properties, select the Assignment. Have the Identity Store selected and select Assignment as Assign to single user. Search the user names and select the appropriate user.

Hi Hari,
Thanks for your response. As of now, we're using Activiti Online and not the Activiti Enterprise.
