Hi. My organization is currently running Alfresco Community version 3.3g on Windows Server 2008 R2. We have been unable to connect via WebDAV using any of the Windows 7 machines in our office (using the built in explorer/Network Places). We can connect just fine using any of our Windows XP machines. I have found a few articles talking about proppatch implementation, but it appears that was only an issue up through version 3.2. I've found other things talking about write privileges, but nothing where there's a complete inability to connect via WebDav. I'm at a loss here, and haven't been able to find anything that addresses this issue - has anyone else run into this issue, and how were you able to correct it?

Yes there are many problems with the "improvements" introduced by the WebDav clien in Windows 7.

Perhaps you should start here.
https://issues.alfresco.com/jira/browse/DOC-201

Or in the short term use a non M$ WebDav client?
