So i am developing Alfresco Share to use in my company.Till now we have been using google calendar for all our plans/appointments.I was wondering if it was possible to import google calendar data into alfresco calendar.Cheers,Anand

The Share calendar is driven from individual .ics files, which can be seen via the Alfresco Explorer web client in the calendar space for each Site.

I'm not sure what export options Google supply for Calendar, but this is the format you would need to import.

Hi,

I tried this out on Labs 3.2 with a number of example .ics files, without any success.
I used the web client to drop the .ics file in the calendar directory. But nothing happens in Share. Here is a simple example of such a file:

Any suggestions? Share never gave any indications that anything had happened.

Hi,

Make sure that the .ics file is of the correct object type: calendarEvent.

hello Im wondering if every user could have his own calendar and maybe integrate with google… because Alfresco has a calendar but for sites no users…
