Setting Categories on Share Content through Explorer

I know that categories are not currently supported in Share, but in advance of this functionality being available, is there any reason you shouldn't set categories through explorer on Share content. I know you get the warning message about only touching that content through Share.

There won't be any nasty side-effects, no. And in fact, you can now manage them using the new Forms Service in v3.2.

i.e. Details page, Manage aspects, add Classifiable. Then when you go into Edit Metadata, you'll see a category picker.
