We are authenticating users through our LDAP/AD successfully. Which version of Alfresco are you using since this is an area that's been reworked in the last few releases.

Enterprise 3.1 sp2.

To confirm, I created a user through Alfresco and added that user to the Web Project as a Content Manager.

This user is able to see the web form that I added to the project, while LDAP authenticated users cannot.
