Looking for 3.3 Enterprise Documentation

Hello,I'm new to Alfresco and i just installed enterprise 3.3 version. I did try to create some custom types with the Guide "Working with custom content types" - from 2007…Well, after some try and error my tomcat starts without errrors, but the custom content is not visible in alfresco.I then tried

Hello -

You mention that you downloaded the Enterprise version - if you are a customer then just give Support a call and they can walk you through getting the latest docs and answer your questions about installation, creating new custom types and so on.

If you downloaded the Enterprise version for the 30 day trial, there are links to the docs from the thank-you page. You can also find info on Community 3.3 here http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Alfresco_Community_Edition_3.3g and in the Content Community (http://share.alfresco.com), the Community docs should answer your questions about installation and custom types.

We do not currently have the ability to create custom types through the UI. Ther forge (http://forge.alfresco.com) has several community-contributed UI's, one of them may have that capability although I don't know for certain.

I feel like a complete "newbie" as I am unable to find or access the product documentation (community version) from within the Alfresco Share environment. I have a logon but have not been able to locate the dashlet or link to access the product documentation.

I am not sure if I was encountering an issue with the environment or just some strange combination of issues using Google Chrome to access the Share environment but I am now able see and access the content. Sorry for the fire drill. ops:
