HiHas anybody succeded in installing Alfresco on Debian using Tomcat (5.0.30-9, the Debian package in default config)? When I deploy it using the Tomcat manager I get some obscure errors in the catalina log (at least to me…). When I try to access http://localhost:8180/alfresco/ I get a 404 error.Tha

We have seen some problems getting things going in Tomcat 5.0.x before, these are normally cured by upgrading Tomcat to 5.5.x.

Also another thing to check is that you are using Java 1.5.

thanks for the answer.

I just installed tomcat 5.5.15. Unfortunately there's no Debian package, so I insalled it manually. Seems to run fine now (after having found out that I have to install the jdbc driver, and which version of it).
