I've been playing around with the WS API a bit, looking at potential integration points for our software, and had a quick question: One of the major issues for us is tagging and searching in integrated DMSs - how could this be accomplished in Alfresco? So far I've managed to search on text, title, e

I'm still curious whether or not tagging and searching on tags is possible via web services though - any integration we do would need to go in via that route, the same way we do with other supported DMSs.

We don't distribute Alfresco with our product, only provide support for a variety of DMSs that our clients may or may not use. We're using a standard WS approach for all DMSs at the moment, so going about things via Rest or JS would involve a bit more modification to the codebase than we have time for at the moment - I'll add it to the requirements for our future releases though.

Thanks for the info, it's very helpful.
