    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hi,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I want to have Alfresco running only on an Intranet but at the same time a Surf based Website with content from Alfresco's WCM.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Can I run this configuration and have Alfresco use a File System Receiver (FSR) to deploy the content (webscripts, css, news articles, products) into the Surf website and the read the content from the .xml files in Surf instead of fetching it from the remote repository?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Thank you.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Yes it is possible. Not straight out of the box though. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;You will need to extend the Surf framework to find your XML content on the file system and render them appropriately. We've implemented something similar using Apache Solr to provide XML indexing and search for a stand alone Surf site.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

I guess I could also expose the Web Content using Web Services in Alfresco but in this case I'm concerned about performance problems.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
