Tomcat is not a must have.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;We are using both the explorer and the rest api and never had any memory or cpu problems. Not with activiti &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":slightly_smiling_face:"&gt;🙂&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The rest api as well as the whole concept of extending the engine is excellent. You should give it a try!&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
