    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hi,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I am wondering if anyone here has done the following in production:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Front Tomcat instance with Apache httpd&amp;nbsp; which physically runs on another machine.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I am looking at this as a way to run reverse proxy and to put the httpd instance in&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;the DMZ.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I have configured this in a testing environment, it works perfectly. I am curious to know if anyone has&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;tried it in production environment. Performance penalty? Things to watch for?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Any information is greatly appreciated.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hongbo&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
